Azerbaijan’s active participation in the anti-terror coalition and international cooperation in that sphere will remain one of the top priorities of the government, the minister of defense, General Colonel Safar Abiev, informed a U.S. delegation, the House of Representative’s working group on Azerbaijan, led by Bill Schuster, reported News Azerbaijan.  According to the news agency, Abiev stressed the positive tone of U.S.-Azeri bilateral relations and particular progress achieved in the sphere of military cooperation between the two nations. News Azerbaijan also reported that Abiev familiarized the group with information on the region, which included an exchange on the negotiating process and settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
