According to economic data of the first quarter of 2007, oil products constituted 27.24 percent of Azerbaijan’s exports. This information was provided to News Azerbaijan by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. During the mentioned period, the declared volume of exported oil products comprised 1.3 million tons, which was worth nearly $690 million.
Among the major exporters were noted to be AP State Oil Company, which provided 96 percent of the total exports, AzTransReil, with 1.9 percent of exports, Caspian Petrol-1 (0.89% of the total) and Petrosilex (0.3%), reported the news source.
