Ukraine: Household Incomes Up in Jan-Feb Period

Household incomes in Ukraine rose 33.1 percent in the first two months of 2006 compared with the same period a year ago, korrespondent.net reported on 6 April, citing Ukraine’s State Statistics Commission (GKS). Real disposable incomes for the same period grew 22.9 percent. In February nominal incomes increased 11.3 percent, while real disposable incomes nudged up 3.7 percent, month on month. Per-capita disposable income in February was 487.4 ($96), or 5.7 percent higher than the month earlier.
