Tehran and Ashgabat concluded an agreement on natural gas deliveries to Iran, setting the price for 2006 shipments at $65 per 1,000 cubic meters, effective February 2006, Turkmenistan.ru reported on 12 April, citing the Turkmen state news service (TDH). The agreement, signed in Ashgabat on 11 April, also provides for an increase in the shipments of gas to Iran in 2007 to 14 billion cubic meters. (www.turkmenistan.ru, April 12)
