The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held a four-day anti-terrorist training session in Uzbekistan, rosbalt.ru and other Russian media reported on 10 March. The exercises, which took place on 2-5 March, were attended by around 300 members of special forces units, law enforcement and other enforcement agencies from the SCO’s six member states (China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan). Observers of the exercises included the Chinese, Kyrgyz, Tajik and Kazakh ambassadors to Uzbekistan. (www.rosbalt.ru, www.regnum.ru, March 10)
