Belarus and Lithuania Join Efforts to Combat Drug Trafficking, Terrorism

The Belarusian Council of Ministers on 9 February approved a cooperation agreement reached last year with the Lithuanian government, paving the way for the two countries to join forces to counteract organized crime, terrorism, and illegal drug trafficking, law.by reported on 15 February. The Council of Ministers’ approval provides the legal basis necessary for coordination efforts between the two countries’ law enforcement bodies to begin.
