Tajik Geologists Discover Raw Materials for Industrial Aluminum

The necessary raw materials for production of industrial aluminum were found in the foothills of the Hissar mountains of Tajikistan, reported Asia Plus.  As communicated by the chief of the central administrative board of geology Republic of Tajikistan, Azim Ibrohim, experts have finished surveying work on the deposit of quartz sand and fire-proof clay in Chashmasang.   Ibrohim said that the geologists’ main task was to search for deposits of necessary raw materials for the resurgence of industrial production in the country.  “We must make the switch of supplying domestic industry with domestic raw materials," noted the head geologist. He stressed that foreign investment, which he said is increasing annually, will be a crucial component in this endeavor, reported Asia Plus.
