Kyiv Seeks Military Cooperation with TurkeyDuring a visit to Turkey on 11-13 April, Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko met with his Turkish counterpart, Vedci Gonul, to discuss military and military-technical cooperation, including joint peacekeeping operations in the Black Sea Naval Cooperation Task Group (Blackseafor), participation in the Turkish navy's Operation Black Sea Harmony, and a Ukrainian draft proposal for boosting collaboration in the two countries’ military industrial complexes. “We agreed that the proposal will go through a quick review process,” Hrytsenko said following his meeting with Gonul.
